We are seeking an experienced Procurement Executive with 5-7 years of expertise in sourcing and procurement within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement process, vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment and services for construction projects across Orissa sites
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, delivery, and quality terms
- Develop and maintain a database of pre-qualified vendors and contractors
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast material requirements and optimize inventory levels
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or delays
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and applicable regulations
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports
Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the construction industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
